The PDP Lagos governorship candidate Azeez Adediran disclosed that he picked Funke Akindele as his running mate and not the comedian personality of her TV series Jenifa or Sulia.

The politician noted that even the ruling party that called them unserious once gave their ticket to another actor Desmond Elliott.

He also added that he couldn't believe that Funke's colleagues did not rise to defend their profession when she was being dragged on social media..

Hundeyin also revealed that many people have called and sent messages, asking when the Nigeria Police form would be out. The statement was contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle. He said he had thought everyone hated the Nigeria Police. He wrote, “Shey una dey whine me ni? “Everyday, I receive calls and messages asking, ‘When will the Nigeria Police form be out? I’m interested in joining the police.’ And here I was thinking everyone hated @PoliceNG Shout out to all our supporters'.
