I want OAU to immortalize my daughter - Heritage's father, OAU students who died in Soak Away
The father of 200-level student of Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) who fell into soakaway at her hostel has expressed that he nearly ran mad when the Dean of the Faculty of her daughter called him about the sad news.
Mr. Israel Ajibola told BBC News Yoruba that it's sad losing her first daughter, Heritage Ajibola due to negligence of hall management for not fixing the soakaway on time.
Mr. Ajibola described her late daughter as calm, gentle and easy going lady every parent who proud to have.
The Public Relations Officer, (PRO) of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife, Mr. Abiodun Olanrewaju commiserated with the family of Heritage on behalf of the University community.
One of the students of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife, Olayiwola Festus who spoke with BBC News Yoruba said they are not happy with Heritage's death.
He urged the management of the private hostel to rise up and fix facility in the hostel so that students can live without being trapped in the facility.
Heritage's father demanded from the management of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife to immortalise the name of her daughter.
