NDLEA intercepts 5kg of narcotics hidden in black soap at Lagos airport

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have foiled the desperate efforts by drug cartels to export cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and cannabis to London, United Kingdom through the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Lagos. A statement by Femi Babafemi, Director, Media and Advocacy said narcotic officers of the Agency on Thursday, October28, during outward routine clearance of cargo at NAHCO export shed of the airport intercepted the drugs. They were 20 parcels of cocaine weighing 1.2kg; 23 parcels of heroin weighing 1.4kg and 39 parcels of 2.35kg Methamphetamine all concealed in black soap packets.
