The Lagos state government has shuts major routes and declares Holiday for President Buhari's visit, also declared Thursday, March 29, a work-free day ahead of the President’s two-day visit to the state.

The new Ikeja Bus Terminal constructed is ready and will be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin has said it is surprising how many Nigerians are willing and ready to join the Police. Hundeyin also revealed that many people have called and sent messages, asking when the Nigeria Police form would be out. The statement was contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle. He said he had thought everyone hated the Nigeria Police. He wrote, “Shey una dey whine me ni? “Everyday, I receive calls and messages asking, ‘When will the Nigeria Police form be out? I’m interested in joining the police.’ And here I was thinking everyone hated @PoliceNG Shout out to all our supporters'.
