Bad governance breeds Boko Haram, IPOB, others – NOA

The Director of the National Orientation Agency in Plateau State, Bulus Dabit, has said bad governance and injustices by some military and political leaders led to various agitations across the country.

The Director made the statement in a lecture during Community Development Charter (CDC) learning workshop organised by Community Action for Popular Participation (CAPP) at Crest Hotel in Jos yesterday.

He said, "Injustice and bad governance breed Boko Haram, agitations from those that want to move out of the country, group that wants others to move out of their region and other agitations from all parts of the country."
He added that if there was justice and good governance, issues of marginalisation and agitations might not have arisen in the country.
The Acting Executive Director, Community Action for Popular Participation (CAPP), Nelson Ananze said the aimed of the workshop was to discuss the way forward and strategize on how to actualize top priorities issues of Plateau communities as regards to social amenities and other developmental projects.
He called on Nigerians to belong to political party and collect Permanent Voters Card to enable them exercise their rights during elections.
