Return of N584m: Obanikoro wants to invest in MMM, Nigerians claim on social media

Former Minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, on Monday returned N30m to EFCC. This brings the total amount of money he has returned to N134m. He promised to pay the remaining N450m in 2017.

Nigerians however, claim on social media that the former minister is relying on MMM to pay the money next year.



They said the most probable way to make money during a recession is to invest in the controversial ponzi scheme that yields 30 per cent on investment.

The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin has said it is surprising how many Nigerians are willing and ready to join the Police. Hundeyin also revealed that many people have called and sent messages, asking when the Nigeria Police form would be out. The statement was contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle. He said he had thought everyone hated the Nigeria Police. He wrote, “Shey una dey whine me ni? “Everyday, I receive calls and messages asking, ‘When will the Nigeria Police form be out? I’m interested in joining the police.’ And here I was thinking everyone hated @PoliceNG Shout out to all our supporters'.
