I steal ladies’ panties, sell to babalawo for N500 – Suspect confesses

An unnamed man was on Wednesday morning apprehended in Lagos State for allegedly aiding witch doctors.

The man, believed to be in his late 20s, reportedly confessed to stealing ladies’ under-wears and sold them to witch doctors, popularly known as ‘babalawo.



He claimed to be an indigene of Akinmorin in the Afijio Local Government area of Oyo State.
After a mob descended on him, he said he usually went round to steal female panties hung outside.
He confessed to have been in the business for a while, and that he was being sponsored by some people.
According to him, he gets paid N500 per a underwear he brought to the babalawo.
Reports say he was, however, handed over to the police.
