Ezekwesili slams FG over ‘Chibok girl’ found in Cameroon
Convener of the
#BringBackOurGirls group, Oby Ezekwesili, on Tuesday, asked the Senior Special
Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Media and Publicity, Shehu Garba, to
check the meaning of the word ‘incompetence’ over his statement on the suicide bomber
who claimed to be one the Chibok girl.
It
would be recalled that last week, a female suicide bomber caught in Cameroon
claimed to be one of the 279 Chibok girls kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists in
2014.
Shehu
in a statement, on Monday, said the Federal Government had sent the girl’s
photograph to Chibok community stakeholders for identification.
Ezekwesili, who is former
Minister of Education, took to her twitter account to express her feelings on
the statement made by the presidential spokesman.
If what @GarShehu posted
last night is all the FG has to offer #ChibokParents & Public on the girl in Cameroon,
pls look up INCOMPETENCY.

If
YOU were one of the #ChibokParents, @GarShehu ,
would you not feel disrespected by this silly instruction? https://t.co/w7EeeVZH4y

Whether
those two suicide bombers are 100 or 2 years, the FACT that one CLAIMED#ChibokGirls should trigger deeper interest in
INTELLIGENCE.
