In Less than 3 months, Rave 91.7 FM Got 6 Nominations at the Nigerian Broadcasters Merit Awards

In less than three months that Femi Adefila’s Rave 91.7 FM, Osogbo hit the airwaves, it is already changing the face of broadcasting in Osogbo, Osun State Capital and indeed the South-West.

Rave 91.7 FM has been nominated in six different categories at this year’s Nigerian Broadcaster Merit Awards.

The categories are;
-         Best Radio Station (South-West)

-         Radio Station with Best News Coverage (South-West)

-         Best New Radio Station with ‘Best Creative Innovation & fast rising”

-         Radio Station with Best Creative Innovation

-         Outstanding Radio Program Presenter Night Cruise (8pm – 5am) – Timi Kayy

-         Best Sportscaster on Radio (North-West-East-South) – Balogun Olakunle



Voting is expected to start on Saturday, January 30th and close on February 23rd 2016.

The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin has said it is surprising how many Nigerians are willing and ready to join the Police. Hundeyin also revealed that many people have called and sent messages, asking when the Nigeria Police form would be out. The statement was contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle. He said he had thought everyone hated the Nigeria Police. He wrote, “Shey una dey whine me ni? “Everyday, I receive calls and messages asking, ‘When will the Nigeria Police form be out? I’m interested in joining the police.’ And here I was thinking everyone hated @PoliceNG Shout out to all our supporters'.
