President Muhammadu Buhari turned 73 on December 17th. Family and Friends of the president were at hand to celebrate the great day with him. 

 The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Gov. Amosun of Ogun State and his Imo counterpart, Rochas Okorocha, Minister of Transport, Rotimi Amaechi among others were present at the birthday party organized in honour of the president.

The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin has said it is surprising how many Nigerians are willing and ready to join the Police. Hundeyin also revealed that many people have called and sent messages, asking when the Nigeria Police form would be out. The statement was contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle. He said he had thought everyone hated the Nigeria Police. He wrote, “Shey una dey whine me ni? “Everyday, I receive calls and messages asking, ‘When will the Nigeria Police form be out? I’m interested in joining the police.’ And here I was thinking everyone hated @PoliceNG Shout out to all our supporters'.
