Is Blair truly sorry for 'Iraq's' fall but not sorry for Saddam Hussein's death?-SlankyDiva
A
friend ask why I didn't make a post about former British prime Minister's Tony
Blair's CNN aired tape where he blame the British Intelligence for what he,
Bush and former American Vice President, Dick Cheney did to Iraq and Saddam
Hussein.
'The gang-up' against Iraq' where he said;
“The programme in the form that we thought it was did not exist in the way that
we thought. So I can apologise for that” I can also apologise by the way for
some of the mistakes in planning and certainly our mistake in our understanding
of what would happen once you removed the regime.” But I find it hard to
apologize for the remove of Saddam, I think even from today in 2015, it is
better that he’s not their than he is there”.
The
casualties back then were actually the Iraqi children and youths, men and
women, babies and the elderly. Over 1,033,000 Iraqis were killed within six
years by the invaders who along with the mercenaries they employ, are not
interested in body count if the victims are not their own troops. Over five million
or 50 percent of Iraqi children were made orphans.
How can you
apologize for invading a Country and later found out the reasons you said you
invaded the Country weren’t true? How do you apologize to the over 5 million
Iraqi’s orphan? How do you apologize to millions families that loss their loved
ones? I concur to Owei Lakemfa’s write up; ‘Blair apology song should be from prison’
