College student voluntarily sweeps the road with her foster mother in appreciation to the Society

Chen Mengen, 21, was adopted at an early age by her foster mother Chen Rong who lived on waste-picking. They get a lot of help from the society. Free Education from primary school to middle school was provided for Chen Mengen.

Chen Rong became a sanitation worker under the help of the local government in 2011 and their life got improved. Chen Mengen was admitted to Tianjin Medical University in 2013. Grateful to her foster mother and the society, Chen Mengen voluntarily sweeps the street with Chen Rong every holiday.

The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin has said it is surprising how many Nigerians are willing and ready to join the Police. Hundeyin also revealed that many people have called and sent messages, asking when the Nigeria Police form would be out. The statement was contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle. He said he had thought everyone hated the Nigeria Police. He wrote, “Shey una dey whine me ni? “Everyday, I receive calls and messages asking, ‘When will the Nigeria Police form be out? I’m interested in joining the police.’ And here I was thinking everyone hated @PoliceNG Shout out to all our supporters'.
