Anambra governor, Obiano increases salary of state workers by 16%

If this News is anything to go by, Civil servants in Anambra state have better days ahead as the Anambra state governor, Willie Obiano is said to have increased the salary of state workers by 16%. 

Gov. Obiano announced the increase in salary during the Civil Service day celebration in Awka the state capital yesterday July 30th.

The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin has said it is surprising how many Nigerians are willing and ready to join the Police. Hundeyin also revealed that many people have called and sent messages, asking when the Nigeria Police form would be out. The statement was contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle. He said he had thought everyone hated the Nigeria Police. He wrote, “Shey una dey whine me ni? “Everyday, I receive calls and messages asking, ‘When will the Nigeria Police form be out? I’m interested in joining the police.’ And here I was thinking everyone hated @PoliceNG Shout out to all our supporters'.
