TUFACE’S FATHER DIES OF CANCER AT 68
This is not the best of time for African
Queen Crooner, Tuface Idibia as he lost his father Michael Agbo Idibia on Saturday 23rd August to Prostrated Cancer.
Mr
Idibia died in an undisclosed hospital in Abuja after battling with cancer.
The
deceased had been battling prostate cancer for over a year. He was an alumnus
of Kansas State University, USA; and retired from the Ministry of Agriculture,
Makurdi, Benue State.
Confirming
his death, the family, in a press statement issued Saturday night, said, “With
sadness in our hearts, but with gratitude to God for a life well spent, we
announce the passing on of our father, brother, uncle and in-law, Mr. Michael
Agbo Idibia, a native of Okpokwu Edumoga in Benue State.
“He
is survived by wife, Mrs. Rose Owoyi Idibia, children: Steven Idibia, Innocent
’2face’ Idibia, Hyacinth Idibia and Oche Idibia, grand-children, and siblings.”
The
late Mr. Idibia’s burial arrangements will be announced soon, the family said.
