FG APPOINTS SULEIMAN ABBA AS THE NEW INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE

President Goodluck Jonathan has appointed the former aide-de camp to Maryam Abacha and Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 7, Suleiman Abba as the new Inspector General of Police. 
He is to replace Mohammed Dahiru Abubakar whose new wife just put to bed in Atlanta USA and has attained the maximum  35 years in service.

The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin has said it is surprising how many Nigerians are willing and ready to join the Police. Hundeyin also revealed that many people have called and sent messages, asking when the Nigeria Police form would be out. The statement was contained in a post via his verified Twitter handle. He said he had thought everyone hated the Nigeria Police. He wrote, “Shey una dey whine me ni? “Everyday, I receive calls and messages asking, ‘When will the Nigeria Police form be out? I’m interested in joining the police.’ And here I was thinking everyone hated @PoliceNG Shout out to all our supporters'.
