MOVIE SCENE
I watch dis 'Salaye' film 'KUDI KLEPTO' ( salaye, thats what i call Yoruba film because, you will always here that statement 'E salaye fun mi, #smile)
Infact, its so different from the normal Yoruba theme/settings
Kudi's father is an Imam while the mum is a Christian, u wouldn't belive her surname in the film? (Kudi Hassan) walahi, (a tan)we are not related ooooo cos her klepto in that film na 1st grade.
Even things that are not relevant, she'll steal it.
I betrayed my emotions wen she stole d gift her boyfriend bought for her on her Birthday. Despite her klepto, it was only dis guy that stood by her.
In the flash back, Kudi's mum after her Marriage went to a soothsayer, who told her she would have children of her own but she needs to be patient (when u are going thru tough time & people talk about 'patience' walahi, u myt feel lyk giving such people a dirty slap cos 'E no easy fa!' The mother begged d soothsayer that she's tired of waiting after 7yrs of marriage, her husband family is on her neck bla-bla,,, she was warned that d repercussion might be dangerous, but she said she's determined to face d consequence. And the consequence i guess was 'Kudi Klepto'
The Father, an Imam on the other hand reflect back to wen he was young & still in Arabic class, his grandma was an idol worshipper and he do begged the mama to embrace Islam, the mama make him realize that she's being worshipping her idol b4 he was born & she's okay wit that.
One night, he poured fuel on mama's idol, the shock kill the grandma.
MORAL
If u recollect in one of my write up(s), i asked; who are your parents?
Sometimes, wen you reflect on your life and u cry inside that God, i don't deserve this, am good, am this, am that, bla*bla*bla* but, who are your parents?
As October park its load today 31-10-2013, here is the prayer point:
Oluwa! Gbogbo egun idile, egun obi, ti n so irin ajo odun kan di Odun mewa mo ni lowo, oluwa! Eleda mi, iseda mi, wa ko mi yo ninu re ooooooooo.....'' (Lord! All the evil convenant of my parents, in their family, that has make my life stagnant, God deliver me from such and make my life worthy) Amen
Amennnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, dis is so touchy
