The Truth Behind The Image: Photographer leapt to defence of Criticize Muslim woman walking at the terror attack scene

The pedestrian wearing a brown headscarf and grey coat was pictured holding one hand to her head while walking past a victim being treated on the pavement. She was criticised when a row broke out online with one social media user accusing her of 'casually' walking past the injured woman.

The photographer who took the picture of the said Muslim woman looking at her phone while walking across Westminster Bridge has defended her - saying she was 'distraught' and 'distressed'. According to him, the Muslim woman 'walking past' London terror attack was actually in shock and 'wasn't ignoring people... she was terrified'

But photographer Jamie Lorriman, who captured the image, has leapt to her defence and refuted claims that she was ignoring the woman.
