A lot of Nigerians yesterday condemned the act carried out by Obesere recently for putting the picture of his alleged rape victim on the cover of his newly released Video CD which explained what transpired between him and the said Nike Olaiya after the news got online yesterday. Some of them said he had no right to reveal the lady’s identity, and it was even more wrong for him to put her picture on the cover of his newly released Video CD which explained the rape incident. But on Obesere’s side, he alleged that the lady thinks because she is not a celebrity, and her face is not out there, she can swindle him. She is a scammer that needs to be taught a lesson Obesere said. But more and more Nigerians are calling on NGO’s and human rights activists to help Nike get justice on this case.  

Yeni Kuti’s Ex husband, Femi Segun was buried on Friday 28 th March at the Vaults and Garden Private Burial ground, Ikoyi-Lagos.  Femi died on March 21 st after he had an accident with his power-bike . His first child Rolari 25, (being held by Femi Kuti) , 14yrs old Fikemi born by a Lagos based Judge. His wife Bisi (a Judge) Ex wife Yeni  , friends and family all at the burial. Femi would have turned 56 in May.

Nine days after the discovery of a forest at the Soka area of Ibadan, Oyo State, where scores of decomposing human bodies were found, the forest, which lies on the bank of Ogunpa river extension, the forest has yet to be cleared. After the visit of the state Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, to the forest on Tuesday, he gave the directive that the forest shpuld be cleared, while buildings where eight people were rescued would be demolished. But on Wednesday when the demolition began, a directive from the Oyo State Police Command put a halt to the exercise. The command said there was a need to do a forensic evaluation of evidence found at the site. The state government agreed with the police, pointing out that continuation of the demolition would erase evidence sought by the police.

Pandemonium broke out, weekend, in the densely-populated Ajegunle area of Lagos State, after some members of Odua Peoples Congress, OPC, engaged policemen in Tolu Police Division in a gun duel over the release of a suspect. A suspected member of OPC was shot dead in the process, a passer-by hit by a stray bullet, one policeman shot and several others sustained varying degrees of injuries in the incident which paralysed commer-cial activities in the area. He said: “On close examination the baby was pale, yellowish, with tooth bite injuries on his face. “Since the baby is not old enough to fight with any person, I wondered who bit the baby. However, if he was brought in early enough, the baby would have been transfused with blood. The Department of State Service, DSS , confirmed, yesterday, that 21 Boko Haram suspects were killed in a shoot-out at its detention centre between its operatives and the sect members. DSS said two of its operatives sustained serious injuries. The detained terrorists reportedly over-powered the guards, shot several operatives and attempted to stage a daring escape from detention. There were, however, different accounts on how the attempted jailbreak was carried out. Actress Laide Bakare's New Husband, Tunde Orilowo Decleared Wanted By EFCC.  According to   E247mag : Actress, Laide Bakare’s hubby, Muttairu Babatunde Orilowo, is on the run. Orilowo, 47, has been declared wanted by the Economic and   Financial Crimes   Commission (EFCC) in connection with a case of criminal conspiracy, obtaining money under false pretences and stealing. A 'blow torch' fire which ripped through the cockpit of a Boeing 777 in Egypt three years ago could hold the clue to the fate of the missing Malaysia Airlines flight, it has been claimed.  Stewarts Law, which has litigated in a series of recent air disasters, believes the plane crashed after a fire - similar to the blaze on the Cairo airport runway- broke out in the cockpit.  Since the Beijing-bound airliner disappeared on 8 March with 239 people on board speculation has been rife about whether foul play by either the pilots or someone aboard led the aircraft to disappear.
