We'll pay £1,000 on Presidential Jet in London not £4,000 - Sheu
The Presidency has offered reasons why the presidential jet, Air Force (NAF 001) used by President Muhammadu Buhari has remained idle in the United Kingdom, debunking allegation that it was raking up at least £4,000 a day payment in demurrage at the airport. According to a statement issued by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in Abuja on Thursday, not more than £1,000 daily was being incurred as presidential jets enjoy waivers.
