Samuel Eto'o, David Trezeguet honours with the 'Golden Foot' Hall of Fame
Cameroonian,
Samuel Eto'o and Juventus Trezeguet joined
illustrious names such as Pele, Maradona and Beckenbauer in the Golden Foot
Hall of Fame at this evening’s awards ceremony in Monaco.
Taking in the Champions Promenade in Monaco is to walk through
footballing history. Adorning the pavement are the footprints of
some of the sport’s greatest servants.

FC Barcelona and
African legend Samuel Eto’o was awarded the 2015 Golden Foot at a gala in
Monaco. The 34-year-old, who has starred with five goals in his first five
games in Turkey, won the prize awarded to active players above the age of 28
for their contributions both on and off the field.
As of today, the
strip on the principality’s seafront welcomed a new hero, David Trezeguet to its ranks as, after
171 goals in over 11 seasons at Juventus, picking up World Cup and European
Championship medals on the way, David Trezeguet was inducted into the Golden
Foot Hall of Fame during the ceremony’s 13th edition
at the Grimaldi Forum.
