SUDANESE WOMAN WHO WAS SPARED A DEATH SENTENCE FLOWN TO ITALY
Meriam Ibrahim who was freed by the Sudanese police in May after she had her 2nd
baby in the police cell has been flown to Italy.
The mother-of-two, who
had been facing a death sentence for converting to Christianity, was last month
accused of trying to use forged travel documents when she presented airport
staff with emergency paperwork issued by the U.S. embassy and South Sudan.
The 27-year-old doctor is seen here with her children on her way to Italy.
