Tobi Amusan Sets New Record, Wins Gold At Commonwealth Games

Nigerian athlete, Tobi Amusan has set a new record by winning the 100 meters hurdles gold at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, the United Kingdom. 

The 25-year-old clocked 12.30 seconds to set a new game record.  

World champion Oluwatobiloba Amusan made the fastest time in Round 1 Heat of the Women’s 100m Hurdles at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, which was concluded this morning.

The Nigerian sensation ran 12.40 seconds to finish first in Heat 3 and qualified for the next round alongside Michelle Jenneke of Australia’s (12.63) and Canada’s Michelle Harrison (12.85).
