The PDP Lagos governorship candidate Azeez Adediran disclosed that he picked Funke Akindele as his running mate and not the comedian personality of her TV series Jenifa or Sulia.

The politician noted that even the ruling party that called them unserious once gave their ticket to another actor Desmond Elliott.

He also added that he couldn't believe that Funke's colleagues did not rise to defend their profession when she was being dragged on social media..
