Angela Merkel Hands Over To Scholz After 16 Years As German Chancellor

Former German chancellor, Angela Merkel on Wednesday watched as a new chancellor, Olaf Scholz was sworn in, bringing to an end, her 16-year reign in that office. Merkel advised the new chancellor, saying "I know you are starting work highly motivated, take this office and work in the best interest of our country -- that is my wish."
