Olubadan loses wife
The eldest wife of the Olubadan of
Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Chief Mrs Kudirat Aduke Adetunji is dead. She
died at the age 71.
A statement issued by the media aide
to the monarch, Mr. Adeola Oloko said the wife of Olubadan died this morning.
According to the statement, until her
death, she was the Iyaloja of Bolade, Oshodi Market, Lagos.
She will be buried today, Thursday at the
Popoyemoja, Ibadan palace of Olubadan of Ibadanland at 4.00pm according to
Islamic rites.
She is survived by her husband, many
children and grand-children.
