RAMADAN 1438: DAY 3 - Life Is All About Risk
It was said that ‘The Holy Prophet Muhammad’ (S.A.W) was on a journey with sum of his followers, they got to a dark tunnel and Holy Prophet (S.A.W) said to them: 'This stone we are walking on, you can pick from it, if you decided to Pick from it, you'll regret it and if you don’t, you'll still regret it because you wouldn’t be able to come back.
Some pack the stone in every available sack, inside their pockets etc. while some pick few in their pocket and some didn’t take at all because they don’t want any regret.
After what seems like an unending journey, they were out of the tunnel and behold the stone were valuable Diamonds, those who pick few wish they had picked more, those who picked a lot also wish they had more, while dose that didn’t pick at all had the worse regrets. If only they had risk the said regrets.
I merge this story with our relationship with Almighty Allah, if you worship Allah with all your heart, when you get to Al'jannah (there are different types of Al'jannah but the best of them is Firdauz) you'll wish you had serve him better, someone who neglect Ramadan Fast deliberately will not get the reward of someone that fear Allah and Fast in d month of Ramadan, and if u didn’t serve God at all and you see those that have worship/serve him in truth, you'll wish to be like them but by then, there will be no going back to the world to make amendment.
You can still amend your ways and serve/worship him in truth. Be good to people around you and do to others what you can tolerate. May Allah S.W.T, make it easy 4 us all and accept our supplications as an act of Ibadah! Ameen.
