Buhari in competent hands in London - FG

The Federal Government has assured that President Muhammadu Buhari is in competent hands in London, United Kingdom, where he is undergoing treatment.

The Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, gave the assurance yesterday while briefing State House correspondents after the Federal Executive Council meeting chaired by Acting President Yemi Osinbajo.



The minister was responding to a question on the status of the president’s health. He also assured that there was no cause for alarm over the president’s health condition.

“The president is in very competent hands and there is no cause for alarm,” the minister said.


President Buhari left Nigeria for the UK on May 7 for a follow-up consultation with his doctors.
