Fashion Designer, Uyo Okebie-Eichelberger; A NIGERIAN TO ORGANIZE THE FIRST MATERNITY FASHION SHOW IN NEW YORK

The idea for You! was born after founder, Uyo Okebie-Eichelberger struggled to find affordable and beautiful nursing lingerie as a first-time mother.

This footage shows the moment a procession of pregnant models took to the catwalk to bare their baby bumps in style.

Uyo with the Models

Showcasing luxury underwear for mothers-to-be, You! is the first maternity brand to put on a fashion show at Lingerie Week in New York.
And there wasn't a stick-thin model in sight when a host of expectant mothers turned on the style at the show last Saturday.

She found her options were either "boring, purely functional and bland maternity products or exorbitantly priced semi-exotic products".
So she decided to do something about it.

She added: "You do not have to give up your fashionista style just because you are a mommy."
