EJIGBO ROAD! IKOTUN/EJIGBO/JAKANDE RESIDENCE LAMENT ON BAD ROAD

Going to Ikotun before the bad road saga, is not more than a 30minutes drive form Oshodi or Cele-Express, Okota, but now, Buses/cars spent hours to get to Ejigbo/Ikotun-Egbe. 

A visit to Ifoshi Rd, Ailegun Road, Mechanic Road, Powerline etc, even the Orioke road that leads to the Chairman's house before he move to VGC is an eyesore. 

And not funny enough, the Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Hon Kehinde Bamgbetan was awarded the Best Local Government Chairman in Lagos state for the year 2012, and the people of Jakande/Ejigbo/Ikotun and its environ that passes through these roads are asking, what are the criteria for such awards?

Because most of the Roads in Ejigbo LCDA are not motor-able.

Its so disheartening and pathetic the way we give awards to Politicians in Nigeria.
